Do I even need to type anything?

Not if we can help it! Just add a photo — or scan a barcode — and Listem figures out the item for you. Typed details are a handy bonus for things a photo can't show, like size.

Is auto-posting to eBay against the rules?

No — the opposite. Listem posts through eBay's official API, the sanctioned way to list. It's not a browser bot scraping or automating the site, so there's no ban risk. You connect your eBay account once with a secure eBay sign-in, then post in a tap.

What if my item has no barcode?

Just snap a photo — that's the main way Listem works. Barcode scanning is a shortcut for boxed, branded and media items; everything else works perfectly from a photo (or a few typed words).
